Learn this and more at Ohmsett's Oil Spill Response Strategies and Tactics Training. This four-day training session emphasizes practical experience in full-scale oil recovery operations in the Ohmsett outdoor wave tank. You will increase your proficiency using boom and skimmers while practicing removing spilled oil. The course is presented in partnership with Texas A&M National Spill Control School who provides the classroom curriculum and instruction. Ohmsett staff provides professional training services to support the hands-on portion of the training. At the completion of the course, you will receive a NSCS Certificate of Completion.
The cost is $1,350.00 per person. Space is limited to 16 students.
Visitors and guests must receive a pass at the NWS Earle Mainside Pass & ID Office located at 201 Rte. 34, Colts Neck, NJ 07722 during the hours of operation, 0700-1430, Monday-Friday. Complete the Ohmsett Visitor Form below. On line #5, type in Michael Brennan 732-866-7055 as the "Base Sponsor". The completed form should be faxed to Michael Brennan at 732-866-7027. |
